A short presentation on telescopes, followed by hands-on demonstrations. This will be the first in a series of meetings and special events that will prepare club members for Astronomy Nights.

About the event
Several telescopes will be on-hand for club member and guests to learn about and get some hands-on experiences. If it gets dark enough by 8pm, we can look at some stars and planets too; but there may be too much light. We will do more astronomy activities as we grow, including some special events where we meet at other 'darker' locations for extended observational periods.
